Potential Player Skate January 13

YOU ARE INVITED!
 
Please come out and join Lyons Township Hockey Club for an open skate on January 13 from 8:30-9:30 pm.  Current players and coaches will be skating with the kids.  We will also have board members and alumni on site to to distribute information regarding the LT hockey program and answer any questions you might have.  8th graders are eligible to play for LT in the spring season of their 8th grade year.
 
Please RSVP if you are coming and send us your contact information (child name, parent name, phone and additional email addresses if applicable).  If you cannot attend but are still interested in receiving information, send us the contact information and we will include you in our potential player data base and make sure you continue receiving information.
 
If you know of a skater we missed, please send us their information so we can contact them.
 
Thank you.  We are looking forward to meeting you and your hockey player!  
 

LT Alumni Game in the books!!!

The 2015 LT Hockey Club's Alumni Game was a stunning success! Three generations of Lions...and counting! Thanks to all who made the game a success. A special thanks   to Sam Cuba, Denise Elser and Sunday Aiyash for all that you did to make the night a success. 

Winter Classic 2015

Both JV and Varsity fell to Hinsdale Central in close hockey games last night  at the Bobby Hull Community Ice Rink in Cicero during our annual Winter Classic. Former Blackhawk Peter Marsh was on hand for the ceremonial puck drop to start the Varsity contest. Despite over 40 saves by Brian Roberts and two goals from Trevor Zagara and two assists by Logan Fennema, Varsity lost to Hinsdale Central 3-2. 

JV and Hinsdale Central were tied at 2 at the end of regulation, with a goal and assist each from Peter Elser and CJ Kruger. Unfortunately JV fell in the shootout with their lone shootout goal scored by Kenny Grodsky.  

Despite the outcomes of the games, it was a great snowy night in Cicero, making for great hockey atmosphere.
